During my time at the University of Cumbria l have strived to refine my skills in digital illustration. Even with this focus on the digital, I still begin all my works in a sketchbook. These initial sketches inform the process of my illustrations, and help realise the final result.
I completed a number of projects for my final year before beginning work on the idea of a wordless storybook, ‘Little Red’ which relies solely on its illustrations to convey its narrative. Through the process of completing this project I have gained a growing interest in visual storytelling, and hope to develop in this area of illustration in the future.
